Romanian Cuisine \u2013 Similarities and Differences as Compared to Other Cuisines<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Romanian cuisine, as the sum of typical dishes prepared by the Romanian people, stands as a culinary tradition that is known to be practiced on the territory of Romania as well as in different parts of the world where its people have carried its fame.<\/p>\n

Many are wondering what is it that makes the Romanian cuisine so special, what exactly is the element that makes it unique and tasteful in its own way. That happens especially if we think that its tradition have long developed under the influence of the numerous invasions its people have faced, as well as from the various interactions with the neighboring culinary cultures.<\/p>\n

If we were to pick but the most modest menu in a traditional restaurant in Romania, one can easily grasp that most dishes feature meat, namely pork, chicken, beef, etc, vegetables and fresh bread. Very similar in ingredients with the neighboring Hungarian tradition, the Romanian cuisine however differentiate itself in terms of flavours, most specifically, in the intensity of flavours. While the Hungarian goulash, for instance, is heavily seasoned with paprika and other spices, its Romanian version is arguably known as much softer.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, if we were to consider a typical Romanian home breakfast, one can certainly witness various similarities with the Turkish tradition. In both cases, there is always a rich breakfast, that consists of cheese, butter, eggs, tomatoes, jam and honey, with the exception that each cuisine has its own traditional sausages and cold meats.<\/p>\n

In terms of deserts and pastry, Romanian tradition definitely remains on top, with its savory delicacies that combine quality dough with various fruit, traditional ingredients and original flavors, its outstanding execution bearing less comparison to any neighbouring or invading influence factors.<\/p>\n

Mul\u0163i se \u00eentreab\u0103 ce anume face buc\u0103t\u0103ria rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 at\u00e2t de special\u0103, care este mai exact elementul ce o face unic\u0103 \u015fi gustoas\u0103 \u00een felul s\u0103u propriu. Aceasta se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 mai ales dac\u0103 ne g\u00e2ndim c\u0103 tradi\u0163ia acesteia s-a dezvoltat \u00eendelung sub influen\u0163a numeroaselor invazii pe care le-a \u00eenfruntat poporul s\u0103u, precum \u015fi din diversele interac\u0163iuni ale culturilor culinare vecine.<\/p>\n

Dac\u0103 ar fi s\u0103 alegem chiar \u015fi cel mai modest meniu dintr-un restaurant tradi\u0163ional din Rom\u00e2nia, se poate observa cu u\u015furin\u0163\u0103 c\u0103 majoritatea preparatelor con\u0163in carne, \u015fi anume porc, pui, vit\u0103 etc, legume \u015fi p\u00e2ine proasp\u0103t\u0103. Foarte asem\u0103n\u0103toare cu \u00eenvecinata tradi\u0163ie ungureasc\u0103 \u00een ceea ce prive\u015fte ingredientele, buc\u0103t\u0103ria rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 se diferen\u0163iaz\u0103 totu\u015fi din punctul de vedere al aromelor, mai precis al intensit\u0103\u0163ii lor. \u00cen timp ce gula\u015ful unguresc, spre exemplu, este condimentat foarte mult cu boia de ardei, versiunea rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 este f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eendoial\u0103 cunoscut\u0103 ca fiind mult mai estompat\u0103.<\/p>\n

Pe de alt\u0103 parte, dac\u0103 ar fi s\u0103 ne g\u00e2ndim la un mic dejun tipic rom\u00e2nesc servit acas\u0103, putem fi cu siguran\u0163\u0103, martorii diferitelor asem\u0103n\u0103ri cu tradi\u0163ia turceasc\u0103. \u00cen ambele cazuri este mereu un mic dejun bogat, care const\u0103 \u00een br\u00e2nz\u0103, unt, ou\u0103, ro\u015fii, dulcea\u0163\u0103 \u015fi miere, cu excep\u0163ia faptului c\u0103 fiecare buc\u0103t\u0103rie are propriile sale mezeluri \u0219i c\u00e2rna\u0163i tradi\u0163ionali.<\/p>\n

\u00cen ceea ce prive\u015fte deserturile \u015fi preparatele de patiserie, tradi\u0163ia rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2ne cu siguran\u0163\u0103 \u00een top, cu delicatesele sale savuroase care combin\u0103 aluatul de calitate cu diferite fructe, ingrediente tradi\u0163ionale \u015fi arome originale, executarea sa remarcabil\u0103 neput\u00e2nd sa suporte compara\u0163ie cu oricare factori de influen\u0163\u0103 proveni\u0163i de la culturile \u00eenvecinate sau invadatoare.<\/p>\n
